History
Lise Madore’s career as an agent began while she was working for Arnott & Rogers, a studio that had several photographers working under one roof. She was asked, one day, if she could meet a potential client in order to present the work of the artists. She did and she loved it. With the sensitivity of an artist, a contagious enthusiasm, a sharp eye and a very good business acumen, she started representing the studio full time, with great success. For her, being the link between the artist and the client seemed natural, caring for the needs of both. In this creative environment, Lise Madore had found her true life calling.
Lise pursued her Agent’s career by joining the Creative Center, a design studio, grouping graphic artists and illustrators, then moved for a short stint in Toronto where she represented more photographers.
Back in Montreal, with her wealth of experience and an appetite for challenge, Lise founded her now legendary agency, Lise Madore Resources visuelles Inc. She decided to not only represent photographers, but illustrators as well. She went on to recruit the best talents the city had to offer, reputed artists with diverse styles and expertise in their respective fields. With Lise’s professional approach and the talent of her artists, the agency was rewarded with a client roster that was second to none, collaborating on major assignments in all the disciplines of visual communications.
In 2007, the agency set a new path for growth following a partnership between Lise and Kim Giroux. Kim came to the agency from the advertising world, where she honed her skills as an art buyer, giving her a unique perspective on the client experience and an ability to stay ahead of industry trends. Together with Lise, they are truly passionate about the creative process and make a remarkable team that is as dedicated to clients as it is to the artists.
Lise Madore
I'm often asked why I only represent a limited number of artists. It's because I want to be able to devote myself to each of their careers without stinting and without compromise, with equal energy and passion. It takes all of my time, but it,s also my life.
Kim Giroux
Like the Sherpa guiding adventurers to the top of Everest, my role as an artistic agent consists in bringing artists to the summit of their art. For journey, I always have these essential tools in my baggage: exactness, passion and attentiveness.
Anne Villeneuve
When I push open the door of my studio in the morning, I feel like an alchemist in search of magic. Sketching, silhouetting and sharpening the images of my mind, I will today once again follow the curves and colors to wherever they take me. Will this ink on paper have soul? I must find out as this is my quest, this is my art.

Giving Life to the inanimate in a simple and elegant manner. Revealing the beauty of an object, seeking it everyehere and sharing it. It’s not only my philosophy of working, it’s how I live my life...
Eric Naaman
Eric’s personal aesthetic has been defined by his love of travel and a never ending appetite for discovery. Even though he studied mechanical engineering, his intuitive flair, highly graphic sense of composition and first rate technical skills have been the hallmarks of his distinctive approach to a true life calling in commercial photography.
Well aware that no man is an island, Eric is surrounded by a dynamic crew that is particulary praised for impeccable production skills and a “ can do” attitude, equally comfortable on location or in Eric’s state of the art digital studio. Together, they thrive to translate your concepts into evocative imagery and impact-full campaigns, reveling in their variety, carrying the projects from inception though implementation to finish with retouching ; a one stop shop to cater for all your need. It’s all in a day’s work, but after all, you,re not really working when you’re having this much fun! That king of mindset is contagious and conductive to a very efficient and relaxed working environment.

The Virtuose
Seeing an image in a message, rather than the other way around, means that an image is worth much more than a thousand words.
Nina Berkson
Of course, I prefer my images to speak for themselves. But, yes, they are an extension of me.
I aim to be charming, playful, smart. On paper. And off!
Paul Bordeleau
Descendant of a Basque buccaneer, I traded sword fighting for drawings, and the turmoil of the high seas gave way to the calm waters of a small lake which now serves as my inspiration.
Paule Thibault
I have been drawing since I can hold a pencil. After graduating in graphic arts, I started my own business in publicity and design.
Over time, my predilection for illustration grew into a true passion. My brain is always working in the creative mode, seeking inspiration in all forms, dimensions and colors. Fashion, architecture, design and modern art can become a source of unique influence for me.
Today, I see illustration as an infinite world in which every day transforms itself in endless discoveries.
Paul-Émile Rioux
What I like about what I do is the liberty it affords me: both the liberty I can take from, as well as give to, each project.
